Customs and Border Protection announced that mandatory use of the electronic truck manifest system will begin August 6 at all ports in Idaho and Montana.
 

Currently, filing of e-manifests via the Automated Commercial Environment is required at all southern land border ports of entry.
 

E-manifests will be required in Michigan and New York on May 24, and in Vermont, New Hampshire and western North Dakota on July 12.  Eventually, the transmission of advance electronic truck cargo information through ACE will be required at all land border ports. …
