Customs Notice N-427 advises that Transport Canada has revised its procedures for the registration and inspection of salvage vehicles imported into Canada under the Registrar of Imported Vehicles (RIV) Program in order to provide more flexibility for importers. This change will be implemented on 1 March 2002.
