Imports For Repair or Alteration 

At one time, you had to use E29B Temporary Permits to import goods into Canada for repair or alteration. 

Although our physical location is in Windsor, we are able to clear and release goods across Canada electronically trough our EDI system. 

Also, the permits took longer to process at Customs and even longer to cancel when the goods were exported.

Now, in many cases, you do not have to use E29B Temporary Permits. Many of these imports can be processed as normal Customs entries without the worry of having to cancel these temporary permits.
